Gynecomastia is a surgical procedure in which the breast form and its elasticity is restructured after being lost due to many factors including weight gain and decrease in short periods, or due to enlarged sebaceous glands.

Gynecomastia is performed by eliminating fatty or fibrous tissue in one of two ways. The method used is determined by the surgeon’s diagnosis by sampling or by image.
Method 1: Liposuction is done with a laser or radio frequency device. This procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia, without needing to open an incision.
It is done through a hole of 5 to 10 mm and inserting a tube to suck / pull fats from the breasts leaving no trace.

Method 2: It is also possible to perform under local or general anesthesia.
This method is done in the case of a sebaceous gland under the breast where the surgeon opens a 2 cm wide incision in the brown colored area and remove the gland completely to ensure that they do not appear again. This incision is opened in the brown area so it doesn’t leave any scars.

In both methods, a rubber corset is used to tighten the skin after the operation for a month. The patient needs to be hospitalized the night after the operation, and it is possible to practice his daily normally life after three days.
Smoking and drinking alcohol are factors affecting the healing period, it is important to stop taking them before and after the operation to get te desired result shortly, the patient also can start to practice normal life after 5 to 10 days, also can start exercising a month after the operation.
